Dog Days Ale 2009 - Tours
Schedules and Driving Directions
This is a detailed version of the schedule for participants of the Ale.
It details all the stops and starts.
There are links to the complete driving directions with maps.
These directions are here as a preview and for participants who need to
catch up with the tour during the day. Copies will be provided to all the
drivers at the Ale.
During the day, no one will be at camp to answer questions. Plan accordingly.
Cars can be marked with yellow or blues flags to help caravans stay together while travelling. Each team should designate a tour leader to coordinate car-pooling and the distribution of directions.
Saturday, July 25
On Saturday, there will be two tours.
Blue Tour: Bassett Street Hounds, Ribbonsteel Rapper, Whiskey Rebellion, Hicks with Sticks
- First Stand: 10:00 am - 11:00 am - Watkins Glen State Park main entrance (or in case of rain, the Iroquois Lodge), Watkins Glen, NY
- Lunch: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm - Watkins Glen State Park, Iroquois Lodge, Watkins Glen, NY
- Second Stand: 1:00 pm - 1:40 pm - Village Marina Bar & Grill, Seneca Harbor Park, Watkins Glen, NY
- Third Stand: 2:05 pm - 2:45 pm - Dance at Lakewood Winery, Watkins Glen, NY
- Wine tasting: 2:45 pm - 3:15 pm - Lakewood Winery
- Fourth Stand: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Wagner's Brewery, Lodi, NY
- Dinner at Camp: 7:00 pm
Yellow Tour: Heartwood Morris, Snowbelt Morris, Handsome Molly, Red Herring Morris

Sunday, July 26
On Sunday, everybody will tour together.
Green Tour
- 9:30 am - 10:30 am - Morris service at First Unitarian Universalist Society of Ithaca, corner of Buffalo & Aurora St., Ithaca, NY
- Morning dancing: Note where to assemble based on your team:
- Note: Parking for everybody in the parking garage at the corner of Tioga & N. Seneca St.
- At the Ithaca Commons Bernie Milton Pavilion: Hounds, Red Herring,Handsome Molly, Whiskey Rebellion
- At DeWitt Park, corner of Buffalo & Cayuga St., Ithaca, NY: Heartwood, Snowbelt, Hicks w/ Sticks, Ribbonsteel
