Shirt Orders
This year's shirt (beautifully designed by team member Susan Galbraith) is available as a unisex or curvy/female short-sleeved t-shirt, tank top, baseball shirt, long-sleeved t-shirt, or kid's t-shirt. There's also a notebook, and a tote bag in three sizes. Color options depend on which design you choose.
Please note: You are responsible for placing your own order, which will be delivered to whatever address you provide. Orders take about 2 weeks to ship. You can save on shipping by combining orders with teammates. Here is the link to the TeePublic e-commerce site:
Please note: The TeePublic site lists all the types of merchandise they sell, but the Day of Dance design is only available in the categories listed above. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Details About the Event
Please note: You are responsible for bringing (or buying) your own food, drinks, coolers, ice, chairs, tent, etc. The Hounds will provide a large tent to gather under, portajohns, and a swimmable pond. We we will also provide drinking water, a Friday evening campfire and sauna, and Saturday morning coffee/tea.
Friday August 4. You are invited to camp on the property of Peggy Haine (the widow of Peter Hoover, our late team member), in Trumansburg, New York, about 10 miles northwest of Ithaca and 4 miles south of downtown Trumansburg. There will be a campfire, sauna-ing, swimming, singing, and music jamming for all who will.
Saturday August 5. There will be tour stops at Watkins Glen State Park, and on the shores of Seneca Lake, and at Grist Iron Brewery. You can either buy lunch at a restaurant in Watkins Glen, or bring your own lunch. The Day of Dance will wrap up that evening, at which point you can either drive home or spend another night at the campsite. (The tent and portajohns will still be there, but we can't guarantee a campfire or sauna.)
Food and Drink
The Hounds will provide drinking water during the day, and coffee/tea Saturday morning. Other than that, you're on your own. Plan accordingly!
